A Step Towards a Greener Future & Better Education

Round Table Nepal is committed to environmental conservation through its Paper for Progress initiative. Our primary goal is to raise awareness about the benefits of reusing paper instead of burning it and to generate funds through the sale of waste paper. True to our organization's philosophy, all proceeds from this initiative support our Educate A Child project, which has been providing scholarships to over 1,000 underprivileged children for the past three years.

Beyond recycling, this initiative plays a crucial role in preserving the environment by reducing the need for tree cutting. Round Table Nepal has already planted over 350,000 saplings in past years as part of our foundation day celebrations. This year, through Paper for Progress, we aim to save trees while continuing our plantation efforts.

Key Facts & Impact

• An individual consumes the equivalent of five fully grown trees in a lifetime.
• Producing one metric ton of paper requires 24 adult trees.
